Editorial policy

XAIPART News reports on developments that change sourcing decisions for electronic components. This page explains what we publish, how we check it, and what we refuse to do.

Who we are

XAIPART publishes supply-side news for electronics procurement teams. We cover price, capacity, allocation, lifecycle and compliance changes that affect what you can buy and when.

What we publish

Each report follows the same six-part skeleton: what happened, why it matters for sourcing, what changes in your BOM, alternatives and lifecycle, compliance and risk, and what to watch.

  • Every factual claim carries an inline source marker that resolves in the Sources block.
  • Analysis is explicitly labelled and never blended with reported facts.
  • Forward-looking statements are written so they can be falsified and are tracked over time.

Sources and tiering

We classify sources as primary (official announcements, regulators, standards bodies), trade (specialist industry media) and aggregator. Primary sources are preferred and are labelled as such in our timelines.

How we verify

Before publication every draft passes a deterministic gate: source sanity checks, numeric traceability, template-literal and datetime legality, structural balance, and source kinship. Drafts that fail are revised or held for human review.

AI assistance and human review

Drafting is AI-assisted. A named human reviewer must approve an article before any AI disclosure is shown on the page; without a reviewer, no disclosure and no byline are rendered.

Corrections and errors

Every article carries a link to report an error. Material corrections update the modified timestamp; cosmetic changes do not.

Forecasts and falsifiability

Forecasts state a direction, a threshold and a time window. Once the window closes we record the outcome; falsified forecasts remain visible rather than being removed.

Data and charts

Charts are native SVG rendered from verified data held on this site. Every chart states its source, its as-of date, the unit and the observation lag, and is accompanied by a copyable data table.

  • Series that lag beyond their threshold are shown as context only and never drive the near-term direction.
  • Where no free authoritative series exists, we name the gap instead of substituting a proxy.

Independence and conflicts

Editorial decisions are separate from commercial activity. Our own catalogue is never presented as a market reference or a price target.

Sponsored or contributed material is labelled as such and is excluded from news reporting and from our gate statistics.

Adaptation for AI engines

Our pages are written and marked up to be readable by both search engines and AI assistants. We declare no engine-specific segmentation, we do not require a special AI text file, and we use no bespoke schema beyond standard structured data.

Contact and feedback

Questions about our editorial standards, corrections or coverage gaps are welcome through our contact channels.
