Design Notes

Place a 100 nF decoupling capacitor on each VDD pin (pins 11 and 23) and a single 10 µF bulk capacitor on AVDD (pin 41), as close to the package as possible, with the return loop directly to the nearest VSS pin. Unused op-amp inputs must be tied to mid-rail through 10 kΩ resistors per the datasheet, and unused GPIO pins should be configured as outputs low to minimize sleep current. Setting CONFIG1 to use the internal LFINTOSC eliminates the external crystal when clock precision below ±2 % is acceptable.
