Place 0.1 uF ceramic bypass capacitors within 2 mm of both VCC1 and VCC2 pins, each referenced to its own side ground. Maintain the isolation barrier as a continuous board slot or gap; route all six signals perpendicular to the barrier to preserve creepage and minimize inter-channel coupling across the isolation boundary.
Tie unused channel inputs to a defined logic level (VCC or GND of that side). Floating inputs on capacitive isolators can oscillate and inject noise into adjacent channels. Also confirm default output states on power-up: if the other side is unpowered, outputs default low, which matters for fail-safe behavior in RS-485 direction control and gate-drive enable lines.
At 50 Mbps, use series termination (22 to 33 ohm) on high-speed channels near the driving side to control ringing, and keep traces on each side short with solid ground references.
