Design Notes
Maintain a clean isolation barrier on the PCB. Do not route copper traces or planes across the isolation barrier. Keep the barrier width at least as specified in the datasheet to ensure the isolation rating is maintained. Place decoupling capacitors (0.1 µF) close to each VCC pin.
Ensure both supply voltages (VCC1 and VCC2) are within the recommended operating range. Use separate power planes for each side to minimize noise coupling. Consider using ferrite beads or pi filters on the power inputs to reduce high-frequency noise.
Do not exceed the absolute maximum ratings for supply voltage or input/output voltages. Ensure the default output state (high for ISO6442-Q1) is compatible with the downstream logic. If a low default is required, use the ISO6442F-Q1 variant.
